Chedid Capital, a leading investment group in the insurance and reinsurance fields operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, needed to modernize and scale manual HR and sales processes as it expanded. Annual performance appraisals were managed with face-to-face meetings and Word/Excel forms, and smaller subsidiaries relied on spreadsheets for sales leads—creating tracking problems and inefficiencies—so the company deployed Microsoft technologies, supported by Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps and Microsoft Teams, to streamline workflows and enable remote work.
Using Microsoft Power BI alongside custom Power Apps, Chedid Capital launched a performance appraisal app (serving 600 employees across 15 entities with potential to expand to 1,400 across 61) and a CRM app for sales teams, both tied into Power BI dashboards for reporting. The new tools delivered measurable gains: 97% employee satisfaction with the appraisal process, sales reports generated more than 50% faster, improved cross-team collaboration and visibility, and substantial paper savings via Power Automate—demonstrating how Microsoft Power BI helped drive a faster, more data-driven operation.
