Preview of the Jabil Case Study

Jabil - Customer Case Study

Jabil, a global manufacturer, needed to accelerate its move to digital manufacturing while enabling seamless, secure collaboration for tens of thousands of employees across 110 plants in nearly 30 countries. Facing a complex communications environment, strict IP and data-protection requirements, and a 1‑petabyte footprint in Google services, Jabil chose Office 365 and analytics tools such as Power BI from Microsoft Power BI to simplify IT, improve productivity, and unlock IoT and machine-data insights.

Microsoft Power BI, supported by Microsoft Services and FastTrack for Azure, led the migration and deployment of Office 365, consolidating tools, improving file compatibility, and adding integrated cloud security and management. The solution integrated factory sensor data with Power BI for predictive analytics on the shop floor, enabled global, device-agnostic collaboration, and positioned Jabil’s workforce to make faster, data-driven decisions—turning real-time machine data into actionable insights while easing the transition of their large data estate.
