A Microsoft Power BI Case Study
Kuwait Finance House, a pioneer in Islamic banking, set out to become one of the first Gulf banking multinationals to fully realize digital transformation by modernizing productivity, communications, BI and analytics while keeping customer data controlled. To achieve this, KFH partnered with Microsoft technologies — deploying Office 365, Dynamics CRM 2016, Azure analytics and data-warehouse solutions and adopting Microsoft Power BI for improved reporting and insights — alongside Enterprise Mobility and Security and Yammer for collaboration.
Using Microsoft Power BI as part of a broader Microsoft solution stack, KFH automated service requests, improved contact-center efficiency, gained senior‑management pipeline visibility, and strengthened content classification and security. The Microsoft-led implementation delivered significantly better query performance and self-service access to insights, increased staff productivity and faster customer issue resolution, and set the bank on track to reduce operational duplication and costs as it moves to a new purpose-built data center.
