Industrial IoT provider chooses Azure Marketplace to market and distribute transformational programs and solutions

ShookIOT, a small Canadian industrial IoT provider, needed to turn noisy, fragmented device data into high-quality information and find a trusted channel to market and distribute its suite of solutions. To solve both challenges it built on Microsoft Azure services (including Power BI for reporting) and sought a marketplace that would reach major industrial customers—narrowing on Microsoft Power BI’s broader Azure ecosystem and the Azure Marketplace for distribution.

ShookIOT listed its offerings on Azure Marketplace and integrated Microsoft Power BI for analytics and reporting, which streamlined procurement and deployment for customers (notably enabling an expedited engagement and pilot program with Chevron because Azure Marketplace was an approved vendor). Using Microsoft Power BI and Azure Marketplace as primary channels gave ShookIOT global visibility, simplified billing and distribution, accelerated time-to-deployment, and helped them focus messaging to drive customer engagements and pilot programs across multiple geographies.
