Indigo Urgent Care looks to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft’s Power Platform to help deliver quality care and world-class patient experience

MultiCare’s Indigo Urgent Care, a division of MultiCare Health System with 40+ clinics and 700+ employees, needed to unify its workforce, standardize operations, and rapidly adapt to COVID‑19 while protecting staff and patients. To do this it adopted Microsoft 365 tools—including Microsoft Teams and Power Apps—and used Microsoft Power BI to bring data and workflows together so clinics could communicate, automate routine tasks, and deliver consumer‑driven care at scale.

The vendor implemented Teams for real‑time collaboration and virtual training, Power Apps to digitize daily checklists and audits, and Microsoft Power BI dashboards to aggregate compliance and inventory data across sites. As a result, virtual visits grew from about 25–50 per day to nearly 1,000, PPE supply management and auditing moved to shared, co‑authored tools across 40 clinics, and managers gained faster visibility into issues—measurably improving operational responsiveness and patient safety with Microsoft Power BI at the center of reporting.
