Hyper Hippo Productions (through its Screenzilla Entertainment division) needed to stand out in the crowded casual gaming market and deliver highly personalized experiences, but its analytics were fragmented across multiple tools. To gain player-level insights and connect marketing, CRM and in-game data, the team adopted Microsoft PlayFab and Azure and used Microsoft Power BI for reporting and visualization.

Partnering with Decisive Data, Hyper Hippo built a PlayFab/PlayFab Insights and Azure Data Explorer pipeline that aggregates data from 10 different sources into two actionable dashboards, with Microsoft Power BI providing clean visualizations. The result: a 360-degree view of player lifetime value, the ability to track every player across touchpoints, faster decision-making, reduced data engineering overhead, and more cost‑effective audience growth.
