A Microsoft Power BI Case Study
Securex, a Brussels‑based HR services company, faced fragmented customer data and multiple siloed applications that made delivering a single point of contact and protecting sensitive payroll and health information difficult. To modernize securely and improve customer experience, Securex adopted Microsoft cloud services — including Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Automate, Power Apps and reporting with Microsoft Power BI — to consolidate systems and break down information silos.
Using Dynamics 365 to unify customer records, automations with Power Automate and Power Apps to replace manual Excel workflows, Text Analytics to triage incoming email, and Power BI for consolidated reporting, Securex streamlined operations and strengthened security. Microsoft Power BI helped surface insights from Dynamics 365 while the broader Microsoft platform reduced a manual safety‑reporting process from 40 hours a week to about 5 (roughly 160 to ~20 hours a month), cut platform costs (Dynamics 365 was ~50% less than alternatives), and significantly reduced the number of applications and overall IT costs, improving response times and customer experience.
