HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group, a leading energy company in Greece with a strong Southeast European presence, needed to modernize its infrastructure, increase IT flexibility, reduce costs and enable data‑driven decision making through cloud migration and process automation. To meet these goals it worked with Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft stack (Microsoft Azure, Power Platform and Microsoft 365) to move workloads to the cloud and modernize collaboration and analytics.

Microsoft Power BI supported a solution combining Azure cloud migration, Power Platform apps and automations, and Power BI business dashboards alongside Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. The program moved 50% of workloads to Azure to date, cut infrastructure costs by 30%, produced 20+ apps and 100+ automation flows, reduced order processing for 1,000+ orders from 2–3 days to 30 minutes, enabled 2,000 users to work remotely via Azure VDI and now supports ~4,500 users exchanging 3 million emails and 500,000 Teams messages monthly—boosting productivity and transparency.
