GE Healthcare, a global medical imaging and VNA provider, needed a way to surface insights from its Centricity Clinical Archive to reduce bottlenecks, ensure images are correctly registered and annotated, and ultimately support better clinical decisions and patient outcomes. To meet that need it partnered with Microsoft Power BI, using Power BI Embedded on Microsoft Azure to build a cloud-based Centricity Clinical Archive Analytics service.

GE Healthcare implemented CCA Analytics on Azure with Power BI Embedded, choosing the platform for its agility, performance, and intuitive visualizations. The solution—piloted with an academic medical center—helps flag assets lacking correct metadata so more images are “diagnosis ready,” improves operational and financial efficiency, and gives clinicians a more complete patient view; GE Healthcare credits Microsoft Power BI’s Embedded capabilities with enabling these measurable workflow and outcome improvements.
