Finastra accelerates development, sustains industry lead through DevOps transformation

Finastra, one of the world’s largest fintechs serving over 8,500 customers including 90 of the top 100 banks, needed to scale initial DevOps wins into an enterprise‑wide, standardized, self‑service delivery model to accelerate development while maintaining quality, compliance and consistency. Working with Microsoft technologies — notably Azure, Azure DevOps, AKS and Azure Monitor — Finastra also used Microsoft Power BI dashboards to surface telemetry and support data‑driven adoption across teams.

Finastra implemented a Microsoft‑led solution combining Azure DevOps pipelines, containerization on AKS, automated Quality Gates, role‑based access controls and Azure Monitor, with Microsoft Power BI providing analytics on developer velocity and tool performance. The platform enabled self‑service deployments, multiple on‑demand releases per sprint instead of infrequent big releases, faster onboarding and reduced lead times, measurably boosting developer productivity, resilience and time‑to‑market.
