Epiq, a global technology-enabled services leader, needed to streamline both client-facing class action support and internal employee onboarding while managing spikes in demand and a small IT team. To address this, Epiq used Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse to modernize operations.
Microsoft helped Epiq deploy AI-driven agents for claimant support and IT assistance, plus an automated “Launchpad” onboarding system. The results included handling nearly 50,000 claimant messages for one major case, saving about 2,000 onboarding hours each month, and reducing costs by more than USD 500,000 annually.
