Ensuring quality education for Pakistan’s most vulnerable communities

The Citizens Foundation is a leading Pakistani nonprofit that builds and runs schools for underprivileged children and trains teachers and principals to improve education access. Faced with the challenge of coordinating operations across 1,482 schools and monitoring student performance to demonstrate impact, the organization adopted Microsoft Power BI along with Office 365, Dynamics 365, Teams, and Planner to modernize communication, analytics, and reporting.

Using Microsoft Power BI to create daily KPI dashboards and Office 365 for hosted email and collaboration, TCF gained 100% email uptime, improved remote access, and real-time visibility into student, teacher, and school performance. The result is stronger operational monitoring, better decision-making, and clearer reporting for donors—supporting over 220,000 students across 1,482 schools and helping produce 3,431 tenth-grade graduates in 2016.
