Energisme, a French energy-services provider, needed to help public and enterprise customers collect, centralize, and analyze diverse energy data so they could control consumption, costs, and environmental impact. To meet this challenge, Energisme built its energy-management platform on Microsoft Power BI together with Azure services (Azure IoT Hub, Azure Machine Learning) to ingest data from smart meters, sensors, and invoices and deliver multilevel dashboards and analytics.

Using Microsoft Power BI and Azure IoT Hub/ML, Energisme implemented a scalable, repeatable solution that automates data capture, centralizes reporting, and provides predictive models and interactive dashboards. The platform can be deployed in as little as four weeks, freed Montpellier staff from manual entry and helped the city cut energy costs by almost 30%; Colas achieved a 15% reduction; and Idex expects up to 10% savings—while customers can add thousands of devices and get real-time insights.
