ELES, Slovenia’s national power transmission operator, faced an inflexible, heavily customized ERP that prevented upgrades and hindered timely decision-making. To move to an evergreen, cloud-based solution the company adopted Microsoft Dynamics 365 with analytics from Microsoft Power BI and implementation support from BE-terna, aiming to consolidate data, standardize processes, and increase operational agility.

Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 integrated via Azure Logic Apps and Microsoft Power BI for consolidated reporting, the vendor-enabled solution put more than 200 ELES employees on a single platform for HR, payroll, project management and procurement. The rollout delivered faster, data-driven decisions, automated standardized reports, improved compliance and transparency, and greater ability to adapt to network or supply changes—benefits ELES attributes to the Microsoft Power BI-enabled cloud implementation.
