A Microsoft Power BI Case Study
El Rio Health, a Tucson‑based nonprofit that operates 14 clinics, struggled with a maze of disparate security tools, fragmented collaboration channels, and limited enterprise analytics while protecting sensitive patient data. To consolidate security, collaboration, and reporting, El Rio adopted Microsoft 365 with the E5 security bundle and tools including Microsoft Teams, Project Online, and Microsoft Power BI.
Microsoft Power BI centralized analytics while Microsoft 365 E5 provided an integrated security dashboard with prioritized remediation, and Teams/Project Online unified communication and project management. The combined solution gave IT a single view of security score and threats, enabled data‑driven outreach that brought patient visits back to nearly pre‑COVID levels, and streamlined enterprise reporting—improving responsiveness, reducing administrative overhead, and strengthening data protection.
