Egyptian engineering firm sparks culture change and enhances resilience with Microsoft 365

PGESCo, a Cairo-based engineering and project management firm serving the energy sector, faced an increasingly mobile workforce and needed a resilient, distributed work model to maintain operations during COVID-19. To enable remote collaboration, secure access, and better reporting, the company adopted Microsoft solutions including Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Azure services and Microsoft Power BI.

Microsoft Power BI, together with Teams, Power Automate, Azure Active Directory, Intune and Azure Information Protection, delivered a secure, flexible digital workplace: more than 90 percent of PGESCo’s multinational team moved online and roughly 90 percent of employees are now Teams users. Microsoft Power BI provided on-demand, self-service reporting, Power Automate enabled mobile-first workflow automation, and Teams (with RealWear) reduced on-site headcount—boosting productivity and overall business resilience while enforcing MFA and device/data protection.
