Eckes-Granini creates more transparency in their supply chain with Azure and Power BI

Eckes-Granini, Europe’s largest producer of branded fruit juices, needed far greater visibility across a complex, multi-tier supply chain to meet its goal of sourcing all raw ingredients sustainably by 2030 and to stay ahead of due diligence requirements. Microsoft Power BI, together with Azure, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory, was used to help the procurement team uncover supplier relationships, assess sustainability and risk, and better understand second- and third-tier suppliers.

Microsoft Power BI enabled Eckes-Granini to build a dashboard that consolidated and visualized supplier data from internal, external, and public sources into one clear model. The result was nearly 70% of juice ingredients meeting sustainability standards, a tripling of saved supplier contacts, and stronger supplier management and supply chain security, giving Eckes-Granini a more data-driven basis for working with suppliers and supporting compliance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
