DocuSign writes its name on a new market

DocuSign, a San Francisco– and Seattle‑based leader in electronic signature and Digital Transaction Management, faced the challenge of scaling fast while turning the huge volume of transaction data it captures into a strategic asset. To support multihundred‑percent growth and real‑time transaction needs, DocuSign built on Microsoft technologies—including Microsoft SQL Server and Azure—and employed Microsoft Power BI to help surface insights from its telemetry that ingests tens of billions of data samples per day.

Using Microsoft Power BI alongside Azure and SQL Server, DocuSign created queryable data systems and easy‑to‑understand dashboards that accelerated decision making about product features and market focus. The implementation let DocuSign scale infrastructure more cheaply and ship capabilities faster, supporting more than 100,000 organizations, over 50 million users, and more than 50,000 new users joining the Global Trust Network every day, while converting vast telemetry into actionable business outcomes with Microsoft Power BI.
