Datex Corporation, a US-based supply chain company (50–999 employees), needed to evolve into a Software-as-a-Service provider for its global warehouse customers and deliver a secure, customizable warehouse management experience. To modernize its platform, Datex engaged Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft cloud tools — including Power Apps, Azure Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure API Management — to rearchitect its offering.

Datex built the Wavelength platform using Power Apps for flexible customer-facing customization and Azure Integration Services (with Logic Apps and API Management) for a secure, scalable back end, while leveraging Microsoft Power BI for analytics and visibility. The solution gave customers a fully personalized, end-to-end WMS: they can customize data intake, scale more flexibly, and benefit from stronger security, reliable APIs and cloud storage—delivering measurable improvements in operational visibility and SaaS readiness.
