CSC, a large partner professional services firm, needed greater workplace agility, secure global collaboration, mobility and better data insight to support complex, regulated client work. To modernize its connected workplace and analytics, CSC adopted Microsoft Power BI alongside Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business Online to address mobility, compliance and collaboration challenges.

Using Microsoft Power BI and the broader Office 365 suite, CSC deployed a new intranet (CSC WorkShare), enabled mobile meetings and cloud file access, and gave business users self-service analytics and report sharing on SharePoint. The organization migrated 55,000 employees to Exchange Online in five weeks via a phased pilot–regional–global approach, leveraged a hybrid model for a smooth transition, accelerated service delivery and positioned itself to win new market opportunities as a service integrator.
