Citta Design, an Auckland‑based furniture, lighting and homewares retailer, faced the challenge of moving from manual decision‑making to data‑driven planning: gaining finer‑grained customer insights, better forecasting and “just enough” inventory across wholesale, retail and online channels. To address this, Citta implemented Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Microsoft Power BI (with partner Sable37) to centralize data, enable analytics and lay the groundwork for AI‑driven capabilities.

Using Microsoft Power BI alongside Dynamics 365, Citta Design consolidated sales, supply‑chain and CRM data to improve demand forecasting, range planning and omnichannel customer segmentation. The solution reduced guesswork in buying, improved inventory positioning, enabled tighter supplier integration and created a scalable cloud platform for growth—delivering the insights the company needs today and establishing a runway toward predictive analytics and a CRM‑based loyalty program.
