C.H. Robinson improves visibility into customer needs with Dynamics 365

C.H. Robinson, a global logistics provider managing nearly $20 billion in freight and millions of shipments annually, needed a centralized, 360-degree view of customers to capture unmet needs and streamline sales coordination. To meet that challenge, C.H. Robinson partnered with Microsoft Power BI (with implementation support from PowerObjects) and adopted Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power BI) to capture, catalog, and surface customer data.

PowerObjects and Microsoft Power BI helped build a Dynamics 365 Sales deployment with a Power Apps canvas app for streamlined data capture and embedded Power BI reports for visibility and coaching. The solution went live to about 3,000 users in six months, produced 14,000 sales opportunities in the first six months, improved opportunity-data quality by 89%, delivered break-even ROI in 11 months, and gives managers and executives actionable insights to prioritize accounts and drive growth.
