A Microsoft Power BI Case Study

Preview of the CEMEX Case Study

CEMEX - Customer Case Study

CEMEX, the Monterrey‑based multinational building materials company, needed to shift a 20‑year email‑centric culture to a secure, collaborative cloud workplace for 40,000+ employees across 12 languages. To accelerate adoption and minimize disruption, CEMEX engaged Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft FastTrack for Office 365 to deploy Office 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint Online, Outlook, Yammer, Stream, Planner) and to drive a structured change‑management program.

Using Microsoft Power BI dashboards and FastTrack guidance, CEMEX rolled out Office 365 globally, tracked user outreach and training, and reengineered processes to improve partner and customer collaboration (notably in CEMEX Go). Within a year adoption metrics included 3,000 Yammer users after three months and 7,000 after one year, plus 8,600 Skype for Business and 9,100 Outlook mobile users—delivering faster decision‑making, end‑to‑end visibility, and measurable gains in productivity and partner engagement.
