Australian car service marketplace redefines customer journey analytics through Power BI AI

AutoGuru, Australia’s leading online marketplace for car service providers, faced a challenge in measuring and optimizing complex customer journeys and proving marketing ROI across many data sources (marketing, social, call center, CRM, finance). To address this, AutoGuru turned to Microsoft Power BI and its Power BI tools to bring together web behavior and marketing data and make customer journey analytics accessible to the business.

Using Microsoft Power BI (including PAFnow process-mining visuals and the Power BI Key Influencers/Top Segments features), AutoGuru mapped user flows, exposed drop-offs, and gave marketers self-service AI to surface statistically significant drivers of conversion and cancellations. The implementation lifted Google Ads conversion rates by more than 60%, reduced cancellations by 7%, doubled email conversion for a national promotion, and grew Australian traffic by over 10%, enabling more targeted campaigns and measurable ROI.
