AUEB helps students compete in the job market with Microsoft Learn for Educators

Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), Greece’s leading business school, faced the challenge of modernizing its Department of Management Science and Technology curriculum so graduates would have hands‑on skills in enterprise IT, analytics, and cloud services and be competitive in the job market. To meet this need the department adopted Microsoft Learn for Educators and leveraged Microsoft Power BI alongside Azure and Dynamics 365 to integrate industry‑standard applications into teaching.

With Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft Learn for Educators program, DMST/AUEB created dedicated labs and extra hands‑on classes (including Dynamics 365 ERP fundamentals, Azure, and Power BI), provided free certification pathways, and drove strong student engagement. The initiative delivered measurable impact: 100% participation in some courses, more than 80% of students securing jobs before graduation, and an expected 250+ student certifications by year‑end.
