A Microsoft Power BI Case Study
Armor, a cloud-based security management provider serving about 1,200 customers in more than 45 countries, needed to improve global collaboration, mobility, and internal security controls as it scaled. To replace unsanctioned third-party tools and ensure secure, mobile access to data, Armor adopted Microsoft Office 365 services—including Azure Active Directory, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Planner and Microsoft Power BI—to centralize identity, collaboration, and compliance.
Using Microsoft Power BI alongside Office 365 capabilities, Armor moved incident tracking and sales collateral into secured cloud stores, enabled impromptu Skype for Business video meetings, and coordinated work with Planner and SharePoint Online. The result: faster incident response and sales agility, streamlined product management across 15–20 stakeholders who coauthor 50–100 files, reduced travel and meeting overhead, and stronger eDiscovery and threat protection—while planning to embed Microsoft Power BI reports in SharePoint Online for real‑time security analytics in meetings.
