Advanced threat protection and identity management are no small potatoes for family-owned agriculture company

The Little Potato Company, a family-owned Canadian produce business with about 400 employees, faced growing security risks as it expanded into the United States and more than doubled in size. Using a multilayered Microsoft approach (conditional access and Azure AD Identity Protection, MFA, Intune, Defender ATP, Office 365 ATP, Windows Hello and Secure Score), the vendor’s solutions blocked multiple hijacked-credential sign-in attempts and, within minutes, locked the account, expired tokens and forced a password reset to end the attack. The Little Potato Company now reports 100% endpoint coverage with Microsoft Defender ATP, fewer password-based logins, faster secure remote access, and the BI capabilities of Microsoft Power BI included in its E5 licensing to support continued growth and visibility.
