A Microsoft Power BI Case Study
Adobe, a global software leader, faced the challenge of running a vast, open-source–based SaaS portfolio (including Adobe Creative Cloud and the new Adobe Experience Cloud) while delivering personalized, high-performance customer experiences at scale. To integrate and analyze campaign and operational data, Adobe adopted Microsoft Power BI alongside Microsoft Azure platform services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Security Center, and Azure Storage to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
Using Microsoft Power BI together with Azure, Adobe moved key products to the cloud, integrated hybrid data at scale, and tightened security and resiliency—running hundreds of Docker instances, hosting more than 150 microservices, and protecting petabytes of customer data. Microsoft Power BI enabled marketers to analyze campaign data while Azure features (Availability Zones, Azure Security Center, Active Directory integration and automated remediation) improved uptime, performance, and governance, freeing engineers to focus on innovation and delivering measurable operational scale and stronger security.
