BitTitan, a cloud-born platform that helps IT service providers run and grow their businesses, faced two challenges: it couldn’t analyze social media fast enough to optimize campaigns in real time, and the partner leads it handed out were often poorly qualified. To sustain rapid growth (50–100% a year) the company needed timely marketing insights and better lead scoring to boost partner success.
Working with Northwest Cadence and using Microsoft Azure, Cortana Intelligence components, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database and Power BI (with Jupyter/Python support), BitTitan built a Twitter sentiment dashboard in three weeks and a machine-learning lead-scoring pipeline. Marketing can now tune campaigns live and retweet reach has increased fivefold; scored leads converted at 19/200 versus 1/200 for random leads, delivering a significant uplift in partner engagement and sales.
