Viridor, a UK recycling and waste management company, needed a new ERP platform after its sale to KKR and under a tight deadline to replace its transitional services arrangement. The company was also dealing with siloed operations across Finance, HR, and Procurement and wanted a faster, more flexible system. Viridor chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 for its out-of-the-box fit, cloud-based capabilities, and strong integration with the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 was rolled out across Viridor’s core business functions and went live ahead of schedule and under budget. The solution helped Viridor cut interfaces by around 50%, reduce running costs by about 25%, and lower reporting effort by 30%; automation also saved at least 400 hours per month in accounts payable and receivable. Invoicing time dropped from about five minutes across multiple screens to under two minutes in one screen, while improved controls reduced risk and lowered the number of items on the risk register.
