Toyota Motor North America needed a more efficient, repeatable way to train tens of thousands of manufacturing team members across 14 North American facilities without disrupting production. Microsoft Dynamics 365 implemented mixed reality training that lets trainers create and update content quickly, supervise multiple trainees at once, and track progress in Power BI. The result was higher training efficiency, more consistent learning, and strong user adoption, with trainers and trainees preferring Dynamics 365 Guides on HoloLens 2; Toyota also used Dynamics 365 Remote Assist for live expert help and 3D annotations, and the solution supported better equipment layout planning and hands-free maintenance guidance.
