Tillamook County Creamery optimizes growth and performance with Dynamics 365

Tillamook, the farmer-owned dairy cooperative, needed a modern ERP platform to support rapid growth, expanding product lines, and national distribution. The company was also dealing with a mix of legacy systems and manual processes, making it harder to manage supply chain complexity, traceability, and reporting. To address this, Tillamook turned to Microsoft Dynamics 365, specifically Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, along with dairy-specific support from RSM.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 was implemented as Tillamook’s core ERP and system of record, enabling cloud-based reliability, automation, and flexible integrations across operations. The results included a 50% increase in warehouse throughput, a fill rate improvement from about 88% to 98%, and shipping volumes about 40% higher than pre-pandemic levels. Microsoft Dynamics 365 also helped Tillamook handle a 100% increase in order lines from 2018 to 2020 without adding workforce, while improving uptime, reporting, and the ability to support growth with a lean IT team.
