thyssenkrupp Aerospace provides efficient supply chain services to aircraft manufacturers and subcontractors with Materials as a Service

thyssenKrupp Aerospace, a global leader in aerospace supply chain management, needed greater transparency across a complex, multinational value chain to supply aluminum, titanium, and other materials more efficiently. The company wanted to reduce overproduction and stock buildup among aircraft manufacturers and their tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers while supporting its Materials as a Service model, and it turned to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps to help.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 was implemented as a globally uniform CRM system, with a Power Apps-based key account tool called KAM365 that captures customer goals and syncs them into Dynamics 365. This let thyssenKrupp Aerospace map supplier relationships, spot gaps in material coverage, and plan more precisely around customer needs, improving transparency and helping the company better target opportunities and support just-in-time delivery across the value chain.
