Marabu, a global manufacturer of printing inks, needed to reduce the travel time, costs, and CO₂ impact tied to remote maintenance, customer support, and product development. Before the change, technicians often had to travel to customer sites for repairs, leaving machines idle and slowing service; Marabu also shipped test prints back and forth for review. To support this shift toward more efficient service, Marabu used Microsoft Dynamics 365 with HoloLens 2.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 helped Marabu deploy HoloLens 2 with Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, Field Service, and Guides across multiple countries for remote support, training, and collaboration. The result was faster issue resolution, more customers served per day, better access to asset and service information, and quicker service reporting. In product development, Marabu reduced test-print shipping by checking prints remotely, with color verification accurate to within 3 percent and immediate identification of defects.
