SSP Group, a UK-based global leader in food and beverage services for travelers, needed a more agile hybrid infrastructure to move workloads between on-premises datacenters and the cloud. After initially hybridizing with Azure, the company turned to Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies including Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc to solve performance and management challenges across its distributed environment.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 helped SSP implement Azure Stack HCI on Lenovo ThinkAgile MX hardware, with Azure Arc for centralized management and other Azure services for security and monitoring. The result was a more flexible hybrid platform with 50% faster processing times, 3x more storage bandwidth, fewer incidents and service desk tickets, and annual energy savings of more than 100,000 kilowatt hours.
