Swee Heng Bakery, founded in 1989, is a fast‑growing Singapore bakery chain with 31 outlets and a central production facility. Rapid expansion exposed weaknesses: separate POS, finance and production systems plus spreadsheets caused manual stock ordering, data discrepancies and slow reporting, so managers needed a single, scalable ERP to regain control and support further growth.
Working with 9 Dots Consulting, Swee Heng implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (finance, supply chain, manufacturing and retail modules) to integrate stores, factory and back office. The all‑in‑one system provided real‑time sales, inventory and financial reports, automated ordering, reduced IT complexity and freed staff for customer service—yielding faster month‑end reporting, better inventory planning and sustained expansion (about eight new stores per year).
