Russian oil and gas pioneer builds more secure platform for future growth

Volga Gas, an independent oil-and-gas exploration and production company operating in the Volga region of Western Russia with about 200 employees across seven locations, needed to standardize processes and adopt global best practices to secure a platform for future growth. The primary challenge was integrating those practices into a single, secure information environment to improve operational control and analytics.

Working with Dynamics Services, Volga Gas deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) alongside Office 365, Azure, PowerApps and planned IoT capabilities to create a unified information space with flexible analytics. The Microsoft-powered solution digitized services and processes, strengthened security, improved project budgeting and activity analysis, and set the stage to extend ERP to procurement, HR, payroll and production—delivering a more effective, growth-ready platform.
