The Lebanese Red Cross, a large national humanitarian organization that provides about 80% of Lebanon’s ambulance services and aid to refugees, faced the challenge of coordinating volunteer operations, ambulance and blood‑bank logistics, and large‑scale refugee assistance across the country while relying on slow, paper‑based processes and limited real‑time visibility.
By adopting Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Power BI—and hosting its GIS, CRM, and finance systems in the cloud—the LRC created integrated, cloud‑based operations and live reporting. The transformation reduced paperwork, linked operational sectors, enabled real‑time monitoring and decision‑making, and improved the organization’s ability to deliver life‑saving aid to refugees and vulnerable populations.
