A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
North Dakota State University, a premier member of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance, faced the common higher-education challenge of preparing graduates to hit the ground running in competitive job markets by giving them real-world, technical and industry-relevant experience. The goal was to bridge classroom learning and employer expectations so students would graduate with practical skills and professional connections.
NDSU addressed this by partnering with Microsoft and local partners and embedding Microsoft Dynamics CRM into coursework under a passionate instructor, Josh Behl, who used a hands-on final project and social listening tools to simulate end-to-end marketing processes. The result: graduate Griffin Swanson parlayed that experience and networking at a career fair into a position with Microsoft partner Professional Advantage (including placement in their Denver office), illustrating how applied Dynamics training helps students stand out to employers.
