NTT Communications adds insider risk management to enhance data security with Microsoft Purview

NTT Communications Corporation needed to create a safe hybrid work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially after cyberattacks on its internal servers pushed the company to adopt a Zero Trust security model. To support this shift, NTT Communications worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365-related Microsoft cloud services, including Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune, to modernize identity and device management for 40,000 self-developed “Secured PCs.”

Microsoft Dynamics 365 helped NTT Communications complete a phased migration from on-premises systems to the cloud, moving employee IDs to Entra ID and device management to Intune with Autopilot. The result was centralized, stronger authentication and simpler device operations, enabling a secure and user-friendly hybrid work environment while cutting labor hours, operating costs, device kitting time, and speeding up urgent issue response.
