Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, a mid-size retail chain with stores across the western U.S., needed to replace its aging on-premises ERP and POS environment as growth, inconsistent data, inventory issues, and slow month-end closing were starting to strain operations. The company turned to Microsoft Dynamics 365 to find a modern, scalable cloud platform that could unify finance, commerce, supply chain, and retail operations.

With Sunrise Technologies, Murdoch’s implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Commerce, and Supply Chain Management, integrating the system with other business tools and migrating 63 data sets before going live in May 2023. Microsoft Dynamics 365 helped speed up month-end processes, improve inventory visibility across 300,000 SKUs, simplify training and cashiering, and support more flexible promotions and mobile checkout—while enabling 500+ employees to use the new system and allowing the company to open four additional stores without disruption.
