Hagler Systems is a family-owned manufacturer in Augusta, Georgia, with about 100 employees that designs and builds precision mining and dredging equipment. Rapid growth exposed limitations in its legacy processes and on-premises IT—Ben Hagler summed it up: as the company scaled, “we were totally out of control,” and the existing system could no longer support business needs.

Hagler moved its ERP to Dynamics 365 for Operations on Microsoft Azure, adopting an end-to-end cloud solution for opportunity tracking, project management, bills of materials, supplier oversight, and analytics. The cloud deployment eliminated server maintenance, gave managers remote access to timely data, improved visibility and decision-making with built-in analytics, and freed the team to focus on customers; the company is now better able to manage growth and plans to expand analytics with Power BI.
