Meratus, Indonesia’s largest integrated maritime and logistics company, launched a digital transformation in 2018 to boost internal efficiency and workplace agility. The company struggled with legacy on‑premises systems (including its email server), limited scalability and connectivity challenges, and needed a way to maintain operations and collaboration as customer demands and remote work increased.

To address this, Meratus adopted Microsoft 365 modern workplace tools, Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its ERP, and migrated critical applications and databases to Azure, alongside Power BI and Power Platform initiatives. The move enabled workplace mobility and uninterrupted collaboration during COVID‑19, supported ~1,700 Microsoft 365 users, sped up software deployment by more than 50%, cut IT infrastructure costs by 40–50%, and eliminated post‑migration performance complaints.
