Liebherr faced a challenge managing document permissions between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint: documents were visible in SharePoint even when users did not have access in Dynamics 365. With a complex permissions scheme and large, hard-to-manage folders, the company needed a better way to control access and organize documents.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 was paired with Connecting Software’s CB Dynamics 365 to SharePoint Permissions Replicator and SharePoint Structure Creator to automate permission syncing and create a cleaner weekly folder structure. The result was fully automatic, GDPR-friendly permission management for about 900 Dynamics 365 users, reduced manual work, and faster document lookup thanks to the new organization.
