International aid arrives faster and more efficiently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations

Chemonics is a Washington, D.C.–based international development consulting firm of about 4,000 staff working in more than 70 developing countries. Faced with the need to stand up and tear down field offices quickly, comply with U.S. government contracting rules, and eliminate siloed, site‑specific systems that hindered real‑time collaboration, forecasting, HR and financial integration, Chemonics sought a single, cloud‑based core system to streamline project lifecycles and global operations.

After an RFP, Chemonics chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (supported by partner SAGlobal) to provide cloud scalability, integrated project–to‑HR–to‑finance workflows, and global data access via Power BI and Office 365. The solution reduced manual re‑entry, sped up field office setup and scaling, improved visibility and archival records for compliance, and is expected to boost staff satisfaction and customer service as the company rolls out the platform across its projects.
