Industrial engineering firm gains new ways to manage projects and costs in the cloud with Dynamics NAV

Mytra is a small Madrid-based industrial engineering firm that works on large-scale projects (Spanish high-speed rail, Airbus A350 systems, PROFINET diagnostics). Internally the company relied on slow, manual Excel macros to manage projects and disparate teams across Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona, creating a need for centralized, more efficient project and cost management.

Working with Microsoft partner Aitana, Mytra moved to Dynamics NAV hosted on Microsoft Azure, using an out-of-the-box cloud deployment to automate task, cost tracking, and reporting. The solution delivered centralized access and holistic project costing, cut purchase-order preparation time by 50 percent, reduced supplier irregularities, and improved productivity and reporting—enabling clearer customer cost transparency and better operational efficiency.
