A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
Kurita Water Industries, a large Japanese water-treatment manufacturer, faced a need to re-engineer business processes and better leverage IoT and customer-site data to meet evolving market and sustainability demands. Data was fragmented across sales, field teams and acquired affiliates, complicating analysis, governance and secure global operations while limiting the company’s ability to deliver timely customer value.
Working with Microsoft, Kurita implemented a cloud-based digital feedback loop built on Azure, Dynamics 365 (Sales and Customer Service), Power Apps, Power BI and Microsoft 365 E5, plus security tools like Defender. The integrated solution centralized CRM and IoT data (including the S.sensing® platform), enabled automated data flows and visual analytics, improved frontline proactivity and remote monitoring, tightened governance and security, and accelerated feedback to customers—supporting faster issue resolution, cross‑division knowledge sharing and international operations.
