WE is an international nonprofit that empowers kids, families and schools to take positive action. Rapid growth—from 20 founders to about 1,200 staff—left the organization running a patchwork of 30+ systems, which created data blind spots across finance, programs and HR and made it hard to scale toward an ambitious goal of engaging 24,000 schools by 2022 while keeping headcount steady.

Working with Microsoft, WE consolidated its IT estate using Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Power BI and Skype for Business to create a single source of truth. The change enabled granular financial and program modeling for better investment decisions, faster donor and partner reporting, reduced travel and phone costs, fewer help-desk incidents, and real‑time HR dashboards that drive targeted retention efforts—resulting in greater scalability, lower cost per impact and stronger employee engagement.
