Holiday Retirement, which operates 300+ senior-living communities across the U.S., needed to modernize its IT and simplify daily work for community and sales managers so they could focus on resident care. The organization faced fragmented processes for lead handling, sales follow-up and document management and wanted an easy-to-use, familiar system that would improve communication and customer experience across thousands of employees.
Holiday moved to the Microsoft Cloud—deploying Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 for sales and service, SharePoint Online, Office 365, Yammer and Skype for Business—and launched a SharePoint-based Holiday Hub and automated lead-to-lease workflows integrated with Outlook. The result was faster, more consistent sales processes, higher staff adoption and productivity, and measurable business impact: occupancy rose from 74.5% (2009) to 92.7% (2015), and the company outpaced industry occupancy growth by roughly 2x.
