A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Study
Eagle Copters, a Calgary-based aviation company that leases 43 helicopters worldwide, struggled with manual, spreadsheet-based tracking of tens of thousands of components, flight hours, leases and maintenance records. Disparate files and repeated manual updates made bank reporting, invoicing, inventory management and maintenance forecasting slow and error-prone, consuming significant staff time and risking inaccurate financial and operational data.
Working with partner Betach Solutions, Eagle Copters implemented a cloud xRM solution using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and SharePoint Online to centralize and automate component valuation, service histories, invoicing and reporting. The new system consolidated real‑time data, cut quarterly bank-report compilation from weeks to minutes, reclaimed months of staff productivity, improved inventory and predictive maintenance planning, reduced errors, and streamlined lender and sales processes.
